Garret Anderson All-Star Game helmet

DescriptionRed plastic batting helmet, size 7 1/2, with a proper right side ear guard and a team logo sticker on the front. Interior has brown vinyl padding around the sweatband area along with gray padding on the ear guard, crown and back. Manufacturer stickers are present on the interior crown, including "American Baseball Cap," sizing information, a warning label and an ABC logo sticker. Molded in the plastic on the interior is the manufacturer date mark. Interior crown area also has an MLB Authentication hologram sticker.

Bio/Historical NoteBatting helmet worn by Garret Anderson of the Anaheim Angels during the 2003 All-Star Game on July 15, 2003, winning MVP honors. Anderson went 3 for 4 with a 2-run home run. Anderson also won the home run Derby, becoming the first player to win both the home run Derby and MVP honors.
