DescriptionNatural stain wooden bat, 33 ounces, with a clear sticker on the center of the barrel, "Louisville Slugger / M9 / Rock Hard" and "Genuine I131 / Albert Pujols / St. Louis Cardinals" in black lettering near the end of the barrel. Underside of the barrel has an imprint of the MLB logo with "Maple TPX" on a black maple leaf. Barrel end tip is cupped. Knob end has "5" in black marker.
Bio/Historical NoteBat used by Albert Pujols of the St. Louis Cardinals on August 24-29, 2004 when he hit his 39th and 40th home runs of the season, becoming the first player with 30 or more home runs in his first four major league seasons and the fourth player with 100-plus RBI in his first four seasons.
