DescriptionWhite leather baseball with red stitching and blue stamps, including "Rawlings," "Official Major League Baseball" and an MLB logo. Ball has been signed in black ink on two sides of the same panel, "Orlando Cabrera #18" and "Emiliano Fruto #53."
Bio/Historical NoteBall signed by Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim's infielder Orlando Cabrera and Seattle Mariners' pitcher Emiliano Fruto, two Colombian-born players. The ball was from the first at-bat in the majors between two Colombian-born players. Cabrera fouled the ball into the Angels' Spanish speaking radio booth before eventually grounding out to the shortstop.
