DescriptionBlue plastic batting helmet, size 7 3/8, with a slightly metallic surface coloring. Top and sides have ventilation openings. There is a white "LA" decal sticker on the front. Next to the front decal is an autograph in silver ink. Helmet has a proper right side ear protector. Top crown of the helmet has a circular white "Rawlings" sticker. Rear of the helmet has "56" and an MLB logo sticker. Interior has a black padded vinyl sweatband around the perimeter and gray foam pads. Interior crown has several stickers, including "Rawlings," a warning label, two MLB Authentication hologram stickers and sizing information. Underside of the bill has a lengthy manufacturer warning notice printed into the plastic.
Bio/Historical NoteHong-Chih Kuo wore this helmet on June 12, 2007, when he not only pitched the Los Angeles Dodgers to a 4-1 win over the Mets, but also became the first Taiwan-born major leaguer to hit a home run.
