DescriptionLight gray polyester shirt, size 50, with six gray buttons down the front placket and "Rays" in navy, white, blue and yellow appliques across the front chest. There is navy piping around the sleeve edges, the neckline and down the front placket. Proper left front shirttail has a white manufacturer label, "Authentic Collection / Majestic," with a small sizing tag below. Proper left sleeve has a Rays logo patch with a navy embroidered manufacturer logo below. Proper right sleeve has a 2008 World Series Fall Classic logo patch. Reverse of the shirt has "Crawford / 13" in navy and white appliques with an MLB logo patch at the upper back of the neck.
Bio/Historical NoteShirt worn by Carl Crawford of the Tampa Bay Rays during Tampa Bay's first World Series appearance in 2008. Although the Rays lost to Philadelphia, he recorded five hits and two homers.
