DescriptionWhite polyester shirt, size 48, with orange piping around the sleeve ends, neckline and down the front placket. There are six clear buttons down the front placket. Front chest has "Astros / 20" in orange and navy blue applique. Proper left front chest has a patch showing a black ribbon, stars and "Town of Newtown." Proper left front shirttail has a manufacturer label, "Authentic Collection / Majestic," with a sizing tag below and another sizing label with a QR code. Proper left sleeve has a Houston Astros logo patch with an embroidered manufacturers logo beneath. There is an MLB Authentication hologram sticker on the manufacturer label. Reverse of the shirt has "Norris / 20" in orange and navy blue appliques.
Bio/Historical NoteShirt worn by Houston Astros starting pitcher Bud Norris on Opening Day of the Astros' inaugural season in the American League on March 31, 2013. The shirt features the new team logo and a patch worn to honor the victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in Newtown, CT in December 2012.
