Bio/Historical NoteWorld Series Game 5 baseball pitched to the Series final batter, Eric Hinske by Philadelphia Phillies Brad Lidge. Hinske fouled off this ball before missing on the third ball, a strike. The game and Series ended with the Phillies winning the Series 4 games to 1. Lidge was credited with the save. This ball was pitched on October 29, 2008, during the resumed half of the final game that was suspended due to rain two days earlier.
