DescriptionBlack painted wooden bat, 33 ounces, with silver "Louisville Slugger / M9 / Powerized" logo sticker in the center of the barrel and "Genuine M356 / Jim Thome (facsimile signature) / Minnesota Twins" in silver lettering near the end of the barrel. Underside of the barrel has TPX and MLB logos. Knob and end of the handle have been wrapped in foam and covered with black and white tape. There is a small unpainted rectangular area on the taper halfway between the knob and the center trademark logo.
Bio/Historical NoteBat used by Jim Thome of the Minnesota Twins to hit his 587th career home run on September 11, 2010 at Cleveland's Progressive Field to pass Frank Robinson for eighth place on the all-time home run list.
