Jonny Gomes World Series batting gloves

DescriptionBatting gloves with red textured palms, red elastic wristbands and white labels with "5" in black in the center of the palm side of the wristband. Back sides are red leather and light gray nylon with "Under Armour" in red lettering across the knuckles and a white vinyl manufacturer logo in the center. Back sides of the finger stalls have ventilation holes and there are ventilation holes surrounding the manufacturer logos as well as at the base of the thumb stall. Red and silver vinyl wrist straps fasten with hook-and-loop fasteners and have MLB Authentication hologram stickers.

Bio/Historical NoteIn the top of the sixth inning of Game 4 of the 2013 World Series, with two on and the score tied, 1-1, Boston's Jonny Gomes used these gloves to smash a three-run homer that gave the Red Sox the lead and turned the tide of the Fall Classic. The Red Sox won Game 4 and ended up winning the Series, 4-2.
