DescriptionBatting gloves with white textured palms and elastic wrist straps. Back sides are white leather with dark blue and orange nylon detailing. There are ventilation holes on the finger stalls, base of thumb and around center blue manufacturer shiny logo. Base of the finger stalls has "Under Armour" in orange lettering. White vinyl wrist straps with dark blue edges fasten with hook-and-loop closures and have MLB Authentication hologram stickers.
Bio/Historical NoteBaseball's top minor league prospects faced off at the Futures Game, held on July 14 at Citi Field. Third baseman Matt Davidson, an Arizona Diamondbacks prospect, wore these batting gloves as he launched a two-run homer in the bottom of the fourth. His roundtripper, which earned him MVP honors, proved to be the difference as Team USA beat the World Team, 4-2.
