Ghazaleh Sailors cap

DescriptionGray polyester cap with a blue visor and a blue button at the top crown. Center front has a blue and gold stitched owl in flight. Underside of the bill is dark gray with a handwritten notation in white marker, "Those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31." Dark gray sweatband has manufacturer labels, "Richardson" and "PTS/20/XS-SM."

Bio/Historical NoteCap worn by Ghazaleh Sailors, a female pitcher for the University of Maine-Presques Isle team, on April 14, 2015. Sailors became the first woman to captain a men's collegiate baseball team. She played four years for the Owls and wore this cap in her start against University of Maine in 2015.
