DescriptionBlack sleeveless shirt, size 46, with the Mariners' baseball and compass logo in maroon, dark gray, and white in plastic appliques in the center and "49" in white and maroon appliques to the upper right of the team logo. Collar is edged with maroon and white knit trim. There is a manufacturer patch and sizing information at the proper left front shirttail. Back side of the shirt has "49" in maroon and white appliques and "Mejias" in white appliques beneath a small manufacturer patch at the top of the neckline. There is a tag at the left side interior with care information and a manufacturer label at the interior back of the neck.
Bio/Historical NoteShirt worn by Seattle Mariners coach Sam Mejias for the first "Turn Ahead the Clock" game in Major League Baseball on July 18, 1998. The Mariners won that night against the Kansas City Royals, 8-5.
