DescriptionBlack polyester shirt, size 42, with seven black buttons down the front placket. There is white piping around the sleeve ends and around the neckline. "Miami" is in orange, blue, yellow, white and silver appliques on the front chest. Proper left sleeve has a team logo patch along with a white embroidered manufacturer logo. Proper right interior placket has a "Majestic" tag with a QR code, sizing and "Authentic Collection" with an MLB logo. Proper left front shirttail has a manufacturer label with sizing information. There is an MLB Authentication hologram sticker stuck to this tag. Reverse of the shirt has "Ichiro" in white and silver appliques with "51" in red and silver appliques beneath. There is an MLB logo at the top back of the neck.
Bio/Historical NoteShirt worn by Ichiro Suzuki of the Miami Marlins when he recorded the 4,257th hit of his career (between Nippon Professional Baseball and Major League Baseball) on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at San Diego's Petco Park. The feat was accomplished with his second hit of the game, a double in the ninth inning. With this, Suzuki passed Pete Rose's previously held record of 4,256 hits.
