DescriptionBlack polyester shirt, size 46, with six black buttons running down the front placket and "Sox / 49" in silver and gray appliques on the front chest. Proper left front shirttail has a manufacturer label, "Authentic Collection / Majestic," with a QR code and an MLB Authentication hologram sticker. Beneath this is a sizing sticker. Proper right sleeve has a diamond-shaped patch with "9" embroidered in white. Proper left sleeve has a White Sox logo patch. Reverse of the shirt has "Sale / 49" in silver and white appliques along with an MLB logo patch at the top of the neck.

Bio/Historical NoteShirt worn by Chris Sale of the Chicago White Sox on July 6, 2015 when he threw a complete game, defeating the Toronto Blue Jays 4-2. The game ended a streak of eight straight starts in which Sale had recorded ten or more strikeouts, matching Pedro Martinez as the only players in history to accomplish this feat. Sale finished his July 6th start with six strikeouts.
