Bio/Historical NoteShirt worn by Class-A Advanced Myrtle Beach Pelicans manager Buddy Bailey on Deaf Awareness Night on August 19. In addition to other activities highlighting the deaf community, the Pelicans wore special jerseys in which the word "Pelicans" is spelled out using American Sign Language on the front of the jersey, and the letters "ASL" are signed on the back in place of an individual's name. The 2018 season marked Bailey's 30th as a minor league manager. In 2017, he surpassed the 2,000 career wins mark as a minor league manager.
