DescriptionNavy blue polyester shirt, size 50, with six navy blue buttons down the front placket and “Astros” in orange and white appliques across the front chest. Under both arms are variegated horizontal stripes of orange, yellow and red from sleeve end to bottom of jersey. There is an orange Nike swoosh manufacturer tag that appears above first “S” in “Astros” on proper right side of upper chest. Proper right sleeve has a rubber 2022 World Series logo patch with small MLB logo. Proper left sleeve has a team logo patch. Proper left front shirttail has black manufacturer tag with MLB authentication sticker and “2022 PROP. OF HOUSTON,” “50T + 1 B ASTROS.” Hologram: “BCN.” Reverse of jersey has “BAKER JR.” and “12” in orange and white appliques, with an MLB logo patch at the top back of the neck.
Bio/Historical NoteJersey worn by Astros manager Dusty Baker in Game 2 of the 2022 World Series, which his Houston team won in 6 games. Game 2 marked the Astros’ first victory of this World Series. At 73 years old, Baker was the oldest manager ever to win a World Series.
