Aparicio is on the left dressed in a Chicago White Sox home uniform and has his right hand placed on his hip. Fox,on the right, is dressed in a Chicago White Sox home uniform and has both his hands placed on his hips. Three gentlemen, including Eddie Gaedel, are dressed up as martians. Comiskey Park is in the background and fans are seated throughout the stadium. The caption on the back of the photograph (not shown) states, "1959 'Martian landing' -Eddie Gaedel + other midgets landing in infield. 'capturing' Aparicio + Fox.'" Based on the caption, this photograph was taken in 1959.
