Luis Aparicio negative
Datebetween 1956 and 1962
DescriptionA black-and-white negative of Luis Aparicio dressed in a Chicago White Sox home uniform standing in a posed throwing position. His knees are slightly bent forward and his left hand is stretched out in front of him with a glove and his right has a baseball in it by his head, bent as if he was going to throw the ball. His body is facing to the left of the camera and his head is turned more towards the camera. Two other players can be seen in the background to the left, one of their numbers can be seen, "40" [left handed starting pitcher Mike McCormick]. Beyond Aparicio and the other players, empty stadium seating and a lighting pole are behind them. Based on Luis Aparicio's time with the Chicago White Sox and the uniform styles, this image was taken between 1956 and 1962.
