DescriptionA black-and-white negative of Eddie Mathews posed on the field at Ebbets Field, taken between 1953 and 1957. Mathews is shown from the waist up, wearing a Milwaukee Braves away uniform. Matthews holds a bat with both hands, resting the head of the bat on his left shoulder. The date of the negative was determined by examining the record of Mathews' career.
