DescriptionA black-and-white negative of Ted Abernathy dressed in a Washington Senators home uniform posing in a fielders stance in a circle of dirt with his legs more than shoulder width apart, his torso bent forward and hands extended out in front of him. He is wearing a glove on his left hand and looking beyond the camera (not shown) to the left. Multiple people (some in uniform, others not) are sitting and standing by the bleacher seating and chainlink fence to the left. In the background to the right, there is a telephone pole and the outfield wall covered with advertisements. A clear sticker with "84" is on the bottom right of the negative. Based on Ted Abernathy's with the Washington Senators and the uniform style, this image was taken in 1955.
