DescriptionA black-and-white negative of Ted abernathy dressed in a Washington Senators road uniform on a pitcher's mound. Ted's feet are more than shoulder width apart with his left hand weating a glove behind his body and his right hand in front of his body, as if he had just thrown a pitch. His body is facing to the right of the camera while his face is oriented toward the camera. Stands full of people can be seen behind him on the left side and the outfield and scoreboard to the right. There is a telephone pole in the field between Ted and the outfield scoreboard. The background sky is dark and cloudy. There are len flares on both sides of the negative. Based on Ted Abernathy's time with the Washington Senators and the uniform style, this image was taken between 1955 and 1957.
