Ted Abernathy pitching negative
Datebetween 1955 and 1957
DescriptionA black-and-white negative of Ted Abernathy dressed in a Washington Senators road uniform on a pitcher's mound. Abernathy is finishing his pitching follow through with his body turned toward the camera. His head is facing the batter (not shown) with his mouth slightly open, his right leg is bent behind him and his arms are turned toward his left. There are stadium stands filled with people along the left baseline and a telephone pole in the outfield. Beyond that is the outfield wall and the sky is completely covered in large dark clouds. Based on Ted Abernathy's time with the Washington Senators and the uniform style, this image was taken between 1955 and 1957.
