DescriptionA black-and-white negative of Bob Allison dressed in a Washington Senators home uniform standing in a batting stance in the grass between home plate and the backstop wall. His torso is turned to the right while legs and head are facing towards the camera (not shown). A baseball bat is held vertically over his left shoulder with both hands and his left leg is more in front of his body while his right leg is slightly bent behind his body. Stadium seating and backstop netting are behind him with two in the stands on the right side. On the bannister in front of the second tier seating, there is a scoreboard that reads "INN. BOST[ON] AT BAT WASH. BALL". Based on Bob Allison's time with the Washington Senators and the uniform style, this image was taken in either 1959 or 1960.
