DescriptionA black-and-white negative of Joe Adcock dressed in a Cleveland Indians uniform standing in the area of grass between the backstop and the field with his legs spread shoulder width apart, his hands resting on his knees and his torso bent forward. On his left hand, he is wearing a glove. The stadium seating is virtually empty behind him except for one individual in a hat standing in the first tier of seating with this hands on his hips and a group standing deep in the second tier seating. Adcock is looking beyond the camera (not shown) slightly to the right. Based on Joe Adcock's time with Cleveland Indians and the uniform style, this image was taken in 1963.
