Aparicio is facing towards the camera but is looking to the left of it. His left arm is resting on his knee and his right is holding the bat. In the background, there is a light colored brick outfield wall and stadium lighting poles with floodlights in the bottom half and dark cloudy skies in the top half. Based on Luis Aparicio's time with the Chicago White Sox and uniform styles, this image was taken between 1956 and 1962.
