DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of Walter Johnson sharpening a sickle at his farm. The image caption on the back of the photograph (not shown) reads: "Germantown, MD., Aug. 6--Walter Johnson, the "Big Train" of the American Baseball League for 20 years, is back on his 500 acre farm after resigning as manager of the Cleveland Indians. The sickle got a bit dull while he was away and so one of his first jobs was to put an edge on it. Johnson said he hasn't made any decision about baseball in the future."
