Eddie Brannick is seated to the right of Ott. Seated throughout the rest of the room are unidentified sports writers. There is a desk in the center of the room. All of the gentlemen are dressed in suits. A newspaper clipping is attached to the back of the photograph (not shown) and states, "Back from New Orleans, Mel Ott (second from right), player-manager of a New York Giants, tells baseball writers greeting him at the Giants office in New York Jan. 21 that he believes Walker Cooper, his new $175,000 catcher, might be worth an additional 15 or 20 victories for the team this season. Seated at extreme right is Eddie Brannick, secretary of the Giants."
