Young (Newcomerstown) on the right side of the photograph is sitting in a chair looking to his right. In his left hand he is holding a pipe and in his right hand he is holding a baseball. He is wearing a flannel shirt and suspenders. Young (Akron) on the left side of the photograph is wearing a suit and looking to his left toward Young (Newcomerstown). The caption on the back (not shown) reads, "left to right Akron's Cy Young, Newcomerstown's Cy Young NEWCOMERSTOWN, O. - - - - When Seiberling Rubber Co., Akron, O., made plans to locate a new plastics plant in this east-central Ohio village, the company sent the sports columnist for its employee newspaper, Cy Young, (left) to interview Newcomerstown's No. 1 citizen - - the immortal Cy Young, now 86, who won more games than any other big league baseball pitcher in history. Here Akron's Cy listens attentively as Newcomerstown's Cy uses a baseball and pip to emphasize a point."
