A caption on the back of the photo (not shown) reads, "President Sees Army-Navy Game Annapolis, MD.: President Truman throws out the first ball for the annual Army-Navy Baseball Game, at Annapolis, May 29. At left is Andrew Frahler, Navy Captain, and at right is Norman Robinson, captain of the West Point Nine. Navy won, 10-0. The Chief Executive also witnessed the Navy-Cornell crew races, part of the ceremonies official opening June Week at the U.S. Naval Academy. 5-29-48."
