DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of a young fan coming to a running stop near the pitcher's mound where umpire Johnny Stevens is bending over to pick up the resin bag on October 10 1960. In the background Pittsburgh Pirates catcher Bob Oldis can be seen walking off the field with unidentified teammates. The newspaper caption on the back (not shown) reads, "NO, HE DIDN'T: Youthful fan appears to be aiming at posterior of umpire Johnny Stevens after final out of Pirates' 5-2 verdict over Yankees yesterday. Actually, the lad was racing for the resin bag as a souvenir. He got it."
