BiographyBill Rigney played for the New York Giants (1946-1953) as a second baseman, third baseman, and shortstop. After his playing career, Rigney managed the New York Giants (1956-1957), San Francisco Giants (1958-1960, 1976), Los Angeles Angels (1961-1964), California Angels (1965-1969), Minnesota Twins (1970-1972), coached for the San Diego Padres, and was a broadcaster for the Oakland Athletics.
