Biography"Walter Widmayer played several seasons in the minors in the New York Yankees, Pittsburgh Pirates, and Washington Senators organizations. In 1955, he spent a couple of days as temporary manager of the Waycross Bears of the Georgia-Florida League, replacing James Deery.
