DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of Connie Mack, center, as he begins to cut into his birthday cake with the help of his son, Earle Mack, right, and William Koelle, left. Mack is looking down at the cake, is holding the knife in his right hand and has his left arm arm around his Earle's shoulders. Earle looks forward to the cake and Koelle looks at Mack, assisting him to hold the knife. The three gentlemen are dressed in tuxedos. The number 90 is the cake topper. A newspaper clipping is affixed to the back of the photograph (not shown) (not shown) and states, "Connie Cuts Up Philadelphia: At a party to celebrate his ninetieth birthday Connie Mack, Grand Old Man of Baseball, cuts a cake, Nov. 19. With him are his son, Earl (right) and William B.F. Koelle.
