Pictured left to right are Robert Walker, Earle Mack, Connie Mack, and Roy Mack. All four men wears suits. On top of the table, Walker and Roy hold either side of a piece of paper. A newspaper clipping (not shown) pasted on the reverse reads, "Getting 'A's' Philadelphia: Roy and Earle Mack bought control of the Philadelphia Athletics baseball team, Aug. 28, and joined with their father, Connie Mack, to form a three-man board of directors for the team. Above, (left to right) the Mack brother's attorney, Robert C. Walker, confers with Earle, Connie, and Roy Mack after the transaction was made. The aged Connie Mack will continue as club's president. No comments were made on reports that he might give up his post as team manager. 8/28/50." The creation date of this photograph is based on the included caption.
