DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of Connie Mack sitting on a bench with grandson Connie Mack III and son Roy. Mack (left) has his left arm around his grandson's shoulders while pointing with his right. Connie Mack III wears a baseball uniform and a glove on his left hand. A caption pasted on the reverse (not shown) reads, "In Happier Days: Three generations of the Mack family sit together when the A's were solidly entrenched in Philly. That's old Connie pointing out play for grandson, Connie 3rd, as young Connie's pa, Roy watches. Roy left Chicago meeting in tears." Based on additional information on the reverse (not shown) this image was probably captured in 1943.
