DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of Connie Mack, center, captured as he holds up an award given to him by Edward Kelly. Mack has a smile on his face. Charles Comiskey, left, is captured looking towards Mack and the award. A large bouquet of flowers are in front of the three gentlemen. A newspaper clipping is affixed to the front of the photograph (not shown) and states, "5/24-Chicago:Flowers and a plaque were presented to Connie Mack (C) of the Philadelphia Athletics today by an old friend, Edward J. Kelly (R), attendant at Comiskey Park for 45 years. Looking on is Charles Comiskey, vice president of the White Sox." Based on the newspaper clipping and information on the reverse (not shown) this photograph was taken on May 24, 1950.
