Datebetween 1932 and 1933
DescriptionA black-and-white glass plate negative of St. Louis Browns manager Bill Killefer, left, captured as he is shaking hands with Chicago White Sox manager Lew Fonseca on the baseball field at Comiskey Park. Both gentlemen are smiling. Killefer is looking off into the distance. Fonseca is holding a baseball bat in his left hand. Killefer is dressed in the St. Louis Browns road uniform whereas Fonseca is dressed in the Chicago White Sox home uniform. Unidentified baseball fans are visible in the stadium seating at Comiskey Park in the background.
