DescriptionA black-and-white glass plate negative of Lew Fonseca captured while he practices his batting swing. Fonseca is looking down with a serious expression on his face. He is holding his baseball bat against his left shoulder as his feet twist in the dirt in the batter's box. Fonseca is dressed in the Chicago White Sox road uniform. Comiskey Park stadium is visible in the background. Based on Fonseca's uniform and his time with the Chicago White Sox this negative was taken in 1931.
