DescriptionA black-and-white glass plate negative of Boston Bees Wally Berger captured as he crosses home plate during a game against the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field. Berger is looking down with a small smile on his face. He is dressed in the Boston Bees road uniform. An unidentified Chicago Cubs catcher is visible next to Berger with his back turned to the photographer. Numerous baseball fans are visible in the stadium seating at Wrigley Field. Based on Berger's uniform and his time with the Boston Bees this negative was taken between 1931 and 1932.
