DescriptionA black-and-white glass plate negative of Pittsburgh Pirates shortstop, Joe Cronin captured looking out of the corner of his eyes with a smile on his face. Cronin is dressed in the Pittsburgh Pirates road uniform. Wrigley Field stadium is visible in the background. Based on Cronin's uniform and his time with the Pittsburgh Pirates this negative was taken between 1926 and 1927.
