DescriptionA black-and-white glass plate negative of Chicago White Sox third baseman Marty Hopkins captured as he stands at the edge of the dugout and looks out onto the baseball field with a serious expression. Hopkins is holding three baseball bats in his hands and several other baseball bats are lined up on the ground in front of the dugout. Hopkins is dressed in the Chicago White Sox home uniform. An unidentified Boston Red Sox player is visible standing beside the dugout. The unidentified Boston Red Sox player is dressed in the Boston Red Sox road uniform. Based on Hopkins uniform and his time with the Chicago White Sox this negative was taken between 1934 and 1935.
