DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of Mel Ott captured standing with his daughter Lyn and her husband, Philip Loria on their wedding day. Ott and Loria are dressed in tuxedos and have large smiles on their faces. Lyn is wearing a satin gown with a veil and is smiling while holding her bouquet. A newspaper clipping is affixed to the back of the photograph (not shown) and states, "Mel Ott's daughter is wed. Former New York Giant Manager Mel Ott (left) stands with his daughter, Margaret Carolyn, at her Dec. 21 wedding in New Orleans to Philip Ronald Loria (right). The bridegroom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Frank L. Loria. Ott now is manager of the Oakland team of the Pacific coast league." Based on the newspaper clipping, this photograph was taken on December 21, 1951.
