DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of Sandy Koufax captured on the pitcher's mound as he prepares to release his pitch. Koufax has a strained expression on his face as he brings his left arm up with the baseball in his hand. His legs are wide apart and his baseball mitt is out in front of him. Koufax is dressed in the Los Angeles Dodgers road uniform. A newspaper clipping is affixed to the back of the photograph and states, "Sandy Koufax The Pitcher is a Father Figure." Based on Koufax's uniform and his time with the Dodgers this photograph was taken between 1958 and 1966.
