Eddie Collins and Joe Cronin photograph, between 1935 and 1947

DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of Eddie Collins and Joe Cronin captured during a discussion. Collins, who is on the right, appears to be mid sentence and his right hand is touching Cronin's jacket. Cronin is grinning at Collins. Both men are dressed in suits with over jackets on. Several other unidentifed men are in the background of the photograph. The caption on the back of the photograph states, "Eddie Collins, right, vice-president of the Boston Red Sox, talks it over with player-manager Joe Cronin, following the preview of the new American League film, "First Century of Baseball", at the Waldorf-Astoria. The picture, produced by Fisher Body Division of General Motors in cooperation with league officials, players and managers, traces the course of the game from its rudiments to the highly developed type of play found in the major leagues today." Based off of the caption and their time together with the Boston Red Sox, this photograph was taken between 1935 and 1947.
