Letter from Roxey Roach to Nelle Stewart

DescriptionA 3-page letter with envelope (not shown) written by Roxey Roach to Nelle Stewart, July 29, 1911. It is handwritten on 2 pages, back-to-back, on Prince George Hotel, Toronto, ON, Canada. The top left of the letter reads "Samuel H. Thompson, proprietor." He writes that the team is heading to Buffalo today, around 7:30pm. He writes that he saw three people (names ineligible) and was surprised to see them. He tells her that the guarantee for her diamond ring is enclosed and is sure she will like it, it cost him $115.00. He is not sure if he can play today, his finger is still a bit sore. The team is off on Sunday and they may go see Niagara Falls. He signs it "With Love and lots of kisses, Your Hubby, Wilbur, xxxxxxxx," his given name. The envelope has the logo for the Prince George Hotel on the top left corner.
