Elden Auker photograph

Date1940
DescriptionA black-and-white, posed photograph of pitcher, Elden Auker, dressed in a St. Louis Browns road uniform in 1940. Auker's body is facing towards the camera with his legs in a slight crouch. His right hand is clenched in a fist in front of his body and his left hand is gloved. An unidentified stadium can be seen in the background with a handful of people looking out on the field. The date is based on Auker's time with the St. Louis Browns and the uniform he is wearing. The patch on his left shoulder indicates that this photograph was probably taken in 1940.
