DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of George Sisler captured standing on a baseball field after releasing his throw. Sisler has a smile on his face and his left arm is crossing in front of his body. He is dressed in a St. Louis Browns road uniform. An unidentified stadium is visible in the background. An unidentified St. Louis Browns player is also visible at the edge of the frame. A baseball bat is lying on the ground behind Sisler. The writing on the back of the photograph (not shown) states, "George Sisler 1st Base + mgr - St Louis Cards." Based on Sisler's uniform and his time with the Browns, this photograph was probably taken in 1925.
