Bio/Historical NoteThe "Mushroom Bat" was a very popular model in the early 1900s. This bat is made up of one of the longest barrels that goes into a thicker handle with its elongated "Mushroom-like" knob. The shape of the knob is meant to counterbalance the barrel, producing a more balanced bat.
