Sammy Sosa helmet

DescriptionBlue plastic batting helmet, size 7, with proper left ear guard and a red and white fabric "C" patch on front. White "2" and "1" stickers, MLB decal, and "ABC" decal on the back of the helmet. There is dual density foam padding on the interior of the ear protector and interior rear along with a disc of high density foam padding at the interior top crown. Interior has a vinyl-covered sweatband. Interior front has three stickers, including "Authentic Diamond Collection," sizing sticker and a warning label.

Bio/Historical NoteBatting helmet worn by Sammy Sosa of the Chicago Cubs during the 1998 season during which time Sosa recorded 66 home runs, led the major leagues with 134 runs scored and 158 runs batted in, and won the National League Most Valuable Player Award.
