DescriptionDark stain wooden bat with a taped handle and taper. "Louisville Slugger / Powerized" is inscribed on the center of the barrel and "Genuine P72 / Willie Aikens (facsimile signature) / Louisville Slugger" is inscribed near the end of the barrel.
Bio/Historical NoteBat used by Willie Aikens of the Kansas City Royals to hit two home runs during Game 1 and two home runs during Game 4 of the 1980 World Series. Aikens became the first player to have two multi-homer games in a single World Series. The Philadelphia Phillies defeated the Royals four games to two to capture the club's first World Series championship in franchise history.
